Introductions

Founded in 2008, the NCJO Big Band performs jazz, blues, and swing standards with a twist of current sounds throughout the year. A staple of the Northport Village music scene, the group entertains audiences annually during the summer concert season in the park and on Main Street. They have also performed at local libraries, Heckscher Park, and other venues.

The musicians enjoy sharing their love of music with the community. We partner with the Northport Community Band (NCB59.org), the Northport Chorale (northportchoral.org) and other local musical organizations to expand the reach of music in our community.
